✅ JSC ,,Georgian Energy Development Fund” presented information about the accreditation obtained by the Green Climate Fund and its significance for Georgia at the session of the Parliament’s Committee on Environment and Natural Resources.
🟢At the session, the Fund’s Director- Vladimer Dzneladze emphasized the role of the Parliament of Georgia, the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources, and all those agencies with whose support the Fund’s accreditation process was successfully completed. Vladimer Dzneladze also noted, that the amendments to the Georgian Law “On Grants” created a legal basis for the effective use of international climate financing.
🟢It should be noted, that during the meeting, the Deputy Director of the Georgian Energy Development Fund- Levan Mosakhlishvili, made a presentation to the committee members on the accreditation process in the Green Climate Fund.
🟢Accreditation in the Green Climate Fund allows the Georgian Energy Development Fund to attract grants and develop more projects in the field of renewable energy, introduce new technologies and strengthen the organizational structure of the fund in accordance with international standards
