Public Discussion of the Scoping Report of the ,,Kutaisi Wind Power Plant” Project

✅JSC ,,Georgian Energy Development Fund” together with its partner company LLC “Wind Energy Group”, through the joint venture LLC “Kutaisi-Energy Group”, is implementing the “Kutaisi Wind Power Plant” project.  On March 12 of this year, within the framework of the mentioned project, Vladimer Dzneladze -the Director of the Fund and Giorgi Katamadze - the Head of the Project Management Department, participated in the public discussion of the scoping report of the ,,Kutaisi Wind Power Plant” project held in the village of Chognari, Terjola Municipality, which was organized by the LEPL National Environmental Agency.

The report addressed the issue of construction and operation of the 43.8 MW installed capacity “Kutaisi Wind Power Plant”, a 110 kV substation and 35 kV underground power transmission lines connecting the wind turbines. The scoping report and planned design works were discussed at the meeting.

 The public discussion was attended by Terjola Mayor Manuchar Robakidze, as well as representatives of the local community, employees of Kutaisi City Hall, Terjola Municipality and Environmental Supervision Department.
