According to the Director of - JSC ,,Georgian Energy Development Fund” Mr. Jaba Khmaladze, a unified electronic system will be created to improve the use of state services in the field of energy and provide information according to “One Window” principle - JSC “Georgian Energy Development Fund” works on this project in agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development
The unified electronic system implies and includes such functionalities as interaction map, information hub, information access administration, electronic document circulation, project management and monitoring, data processing and archiving, information security, communication space, etc. In the field of energy, E-governance is a concept based on information and communication technologies, which aims to digitize and simplify the use of state services.
As explained by Jaba Khmaladze, the aforementioned project provides access to public structures’ services on a common platform, through the creation of a single electronic system and database. The electronic energy management system will allow customers, regardless of location, to use the services of various public agencies.
With the help of the platform of the Electronic Energy Management System, the data exchange standards, interoperability and efficiency between agencies will increase, which means less time expenditure in the administrative process. The platform will allow both Georgian and foreign investors to easily receive the necessary information through a personal page in one space and to be able to electronically identify, initiate and administer the project.
