The strength of the energy sector is of particular importance for the progress of Georgia and the development of the country’s economy. The prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze made this statement in a speech at an event dedicated to Energy Day.
The Head of Government Irakli Kobakhidze and the Minister of Economy and sustainable Development of Georgia, Mariam Kvrivishvili congratulated the representatives of the energy sector on their professional day and thanked them for their hard work. The congratulations took place at an event held on the territory of the Enguri Hydropower plant’s arch dam.
The event was attended by the Director of JSC ,,Georgian Energy Development Fund’’ Vladimer Dzneladze , Head of the international relations Department, Anuki Batiashvili, Head of the Strategic Communications Department, Mariam Turnava and other representatives of the energy sector.
Oleg Zhukovsky, Research and Development Manager of the JSC ,,Georgian Energy Development Fund’’ was awarded for his exceptional contribution to the development of the energy sector.
