JSC “Georgian Energy Development Fund”  and  “Ghunji HPP” LLC  signed a partnership agreement

Jaba Khmaladze: “Georgian Energy Development Fund” will implement one more HPP Project with  5.5 MW installed capacity.

JSC “Georgian Energy Development Fund”  and  “Ghunji HPP” LLC signed a partnership agreement on the implementation of the HPP Project in Chkhorotsku Municipality.

The above mentioned project will be implemented  in Samegrelo Region, Chkhorotsku Municipality   in full compliance with international standards. The planned annual output of the HPP is 31.5 mln KWh. The project is the second winner of the energy  auction under the CFD Scheme

According to Jaba Khmaladze, the development of the “Ghunji HPP  project will contribute to the country's energy independence and security, as well as diversification of electricity sources and creation of new jobs.
