Meeting with representatives of a major Japanese energy company “Chubu Electric Power Co” and the Ministry of economy of Japan (METI)
Deputy directors of JSC “Georgian Energy Development Fund” Levan Mosakhlishvili and Ani Janukashvili met with representatives of a major Japanese energy company “Chubu Electric Power Co” and the Ministry of economy of Japan (METI). The introductory meeting was organized by the Embassy of Japan in Georgia and the Japan-Georgia Chamber of Commerce and industry.
At the bilateral meeting, the representatives of JSC “Georgian Energy Development Fund” informed the Japanese side about the ongoing and planned reforms and strategic projects in the energy sector of Georgia. In addition, the head of the investment department of the Agency “Produce in Georgia” shared information about Georgia's investment potential and infrastructure projects with the experts of the field.
The Parties discussed the prospects of mutual cooperation, underlined the possibility of implementing projects with joint involvement. Priority directions were outlined at the meeting, which will contribute to further development of relations between Georgia and Japan in the future.
