Work experience

  • Ani Janukashvili is a Deputy Director of Georgian Energy Development Fund. Between July 2019 and July 2022, she held the positions of Director's Advisor and Projects Manager in parallel. From 2020 to 2021, she was the Commercial Director of the Georgian Solar Company, a subsidiary of the fund. Since 2016, Janakashvili also worked in the Department of Investment Projects of the Ministry of Energy of Georgia, later becoming the Project Coordinator of the Georgian Energy Development Fund. 
  • In a private sector Ani occupied commercial manager’s position at the International Transportation Company. She worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia in the High Level Delegations Division, the Department of Diplomatic Protocol. 
  • Ani Janukashvili is the winner of the Forbes 30Under30 list in the field of technology and is also the ambassador of various international energy/youth organizations.

Education

  • Ani Janakashvili holds a PhD degree in Management from Caucasus University, along with a Master's Degree in Energy and Electrical Engineering from Georgian Technical University. She also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration majoring in Finance from Caucasus University and studied International Business and Finance at the University of Pforzheim, Germany. 
  • Ani Janukashvili has successfully completed IMF’s course of Fiscal Costs and Risks from PPPs. She participated in Public Investment Management (WB Group & USAID) and Public Private Partnership (ADB & UNDP) certification courses. Ani is certificated in FIDIC International Contracts courses. Successfully completed a one-month course on hydroengineering and hydropower promotion in Japan (JICA). Attended MTX Commodities & USAID Energy Trading program and PLEXOS Electrical Power System Management trainings. Has completed a 60-hour course in sustainable development by UN-Global Compact Network. She also participated in Hydropower Development and Management, Hydropower Economics courses, organized by Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate and International Center for Hydropower of Norway.  Ani Janukashvili is an author and co-author of several researches and articles.
