✅️Levan Mosakhlishvili, Deputy Director of JSC ,,Georgian Energy Development Fund”, participated in the RES 2026 Summit, a regional renewable energy summit held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the summit, a bilateral meeting was held between JSC “Georgian Energy Development Fund” and the Green Climate Fund.
🟢At the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for strengthening cooperation, the progress of ongoing initiatives, and the prospects for the development of future projects. The Fund continues to actively cooperate with international partners to promote sustainable energy development in Georgia.
🟢This accreditation allows JSC ,,Georgian Energy Development Fund” to implement climate change-oriented projects that will contribute to low-emission, climate-resilient and sustainable development. Such projects will further strengthen the Fund’s ability to attract co-investors and additional financial resources. Support of the Green Climate Fund for climate-resilient projects will enable the Fund to play an important role in achieving the country’s national climate goals.
