On 17 October of this year, the event dedicated to the day of the Faculty of Energy was held at the Georgian Technical University.
Mr. Jaba khmaladze - head of JSC “Georgian Energy Development Fund” congratulated academic staff, students and the audience on the day of the Faculty of Energy. In his speech, he spoke about the importance of developing the energy sector. In addition, he thanked the Georgian Technical University for training highly qualified personnel and contributing to the country's energy development .
Mr. Romeo Mikautadze - the First Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, heads of energy companies and representatives of the private sector attended the event.
At the end of the event, the guests visited the Laboratories of thermal energy, hydro energy, FusionSolar technologies and Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Enegry. It should be noted that together with Georgian Technical University, the JSC “Georgian Energy Development Fund”, JSC "Telasi”, “Schneider Electric”, Austrian company “HERZ Armaturen”, US Agency for International Development (USAID), and Georgian International Energy Corporation took part in the creation of the educational and scientific laboratory base.
